Pros: - Worked with absolutely brilliant people. - AWS is a REALLY fast-moving company, and working in the environment pushes you. - Coworkers were nice and welcoming. - Comfortable hours (came in at like 10, left at like 4). - Pizza and beer Fridays. - Company paid for team lunches weekly. - Worked on cutting-edge stuff. - Got to see the inner workings of how a company manages data centers around the world. - Great technical and social talks. - Fellow interns were a high-caliber, driven bunch. - The projects I worked on were meaningful and put to use immediately upon completion. - Leadership in my org was awesome. - SLU is a great place to work in.

Cons: - Like any large company, largely dependent on which team you join. - Because the company employs a huge amount of talent from around the world, cultural and language barriers exist.

Pros: Money is good. Banana is good.

Cons: Really tired. A lot of pressure.

Pros: Fun and challenging problems every day. I get to work alongside and learn from some of the smartest people I know. There are so many ways to have a big impact on millions of people. A chance to participate in history.

Cons: It's really challenging to keep a good work-life balance here, and that seems to be by design. It's a bit of a chaotic environment and isn't always the easiest place to get things done.
