Great benefits. Decent vacation packages, possibly the best of any company I've worked for in terms of medical benefits. A great place to work as a stepping stone if you need great benefits and fair pay while looking for a long-term employer.
Worst company I've ever worked for in regards to practicing safety at work. They give a lot of attention to discussing safety and policies and holding employees responsible for safety, but they do NOT demonstrate safety through management.
If there is an outage (downtime), safety is completely bypassed in order to get production back underway.
Fairness in disciplinary actions was absent. Managers were the worst safety examples.
Also, the CEO keeps his political values in the forefront; this should be invisible.
Safety includes ergonomic workspaces, not a nostalgic "door leaf."
This is the 21st century. Put the door leaf in a pamphlet or company mailer, a museum, then buy everyone "real" workspaces where appropriate.
Treat Maintenance as a "skilled" labor, not as you would a seasonal unskilled employee. In fact, treat those people with respect also.
Absolute WORST employer I've ever worked for in regards to management respecting employees.
Hire managers that REALLY are experienced with maintenance.
Do NOT let Production drive maintenance.
One word... Grueling! The interview process was the worst I have experienced in 20 years. They scheduled nine separate one-hour sessions. They did not consider my schedule and maintained a "take it or leave it" attitude. I complied with their schedul
Applied, waited a while, got OA, two-question LC med, final round behavioral + LC easy. Waitlisted then got off the waitlist. Pretty chill process, maybe somewhat RNG with interviewer. Chill process overall.
It was easy and to the point. The interviewer was sweet and allowed me enough time to think about how to approach solving the problems. The coding question asked was for an inventory and managing it. It was an easy solve with the right data structure
