Outstanding, supportive team and super sharp people. Leadership is engaged in what you are doing and offer value-added guidance. Highly competitive and generous compensation package, including lucrative stock grants. The company is proactively engaged in making Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality a core value and reality throughout the organization.
Nothing comes to mind. The stories of unreasonable or overwhelming work hours are just not true. Work expectations are reasonable, and you are fully in control of what you sign up for. That said, Amazon in general is a huge company, and I suspect there are places where leadership may have unrealistic expectations.
Keep the "Day 1" thinking alive. For non-Amazonians, this is the goal of making every day feel like the first day.
