I have not come across one single Amazonian who is not overworked or has not complained.

Please give importance to work-life balance.
Introduce processes that work, and don't just talk about them.
Understand that there are a few things individual contributors will not be able to change without higher management help. So, please do not say, "You take care of it, I will back you up." It does not carry as much weight when we say it, and it gets lost, leading to a lot of frustration and eventual attrition.
