Pros

Since organizations actually apply the leadership principles touted by the contact and do so very effectively, these items have a fair and honest preference evaluation system and focus on employee growth as well as business objectives.

Cons

Some orgs haven't a clue about leadership, let alone the principles touted by the company. Woe to those in these orgs.

I've seen so many engineers suffer from lack of growth. Value is placed far more on perseverance, often against tedious required tasks, over productivity improvements.

Management in these orgs is stuck on a style that should have faded away decades ago: lie and trust the data to show his progress, and leave it. Move on before the lies and deception are exposed.
