The pay is okay, although not keeping up with some competitors.
Growth opportunities are really luck of the draw. Constant pressure to deliver incremental value leaves little room to think big or be creative.
Slow down and give engineers some breathing room.
Stop letting teams erode through engineer attrition.
Go after lofty long-term goals instead of focusing entirely on small annual KPIs.
