The company culture is one of the worst in the Bay Area.
Middle-level managers rule here. They also play a lot of politics to guard their territories.
The corporate politics is worse than Game of Thrones.
The company HR is completely useless. They will always side with managers and the company. As an employee, you are completely disposable and helpless.
The middle-level managers seem to be folks who've managed to stick around and survive somehow, and are very low-skill. Politics is the only way they survive and grow.
Lots of cliques and groupism. If you can manage to find your way into the inner circle of one of these cliques, you'll survive. Otherwise, it's a hard life every day.
Overall, it's not worth wasting your career over this culture.
Be real leaders and show some leadership.

LP questions about projects and then coding. The interview took a bit more than an hour. The interviewer was nice, even though he apparently only knew Java and not Python.
