Constraints on how people talk to each other.

Hiring process for managers makes bringing in new talent very cumbersome.

No real standards – all teams operating in silos.

Significant biases across regions – doesn't operate a global team.

Comp is out of step with other FNGs, startups, and some financial firms.

Advice to Management

Perform full comp ratio review.

Make regional teams autonomous.

Have more senior people outside of Seattle.
