Both the company and the people really care about your growth at Amazon Web Services. There's no shortage of resources you can tap into and people that will help mentor you along the way. I'm very impressed with things here and very happy about my decision to be employed by Amazon Web Services.
The workload can be a bit daunting during your first 90 days, but they give you plenty of time to focus on finishing your ramp-up. This is the case anywhere you go, though, so I'm not surprised. The one specific difference I'd like to call out is that Amazon Web Services puts everything you need right in front of you. There's no mystery; if you're a go-getter, you'll succeed.
