The only pros are image and salary (for Indians).
I worked at Amazon for just about 9 months. I did everything I could and still got laid off. I was a top performer. Even my manager and senior manager were shocked and had no knowledge of this.
The work environment at Amazon is a "do it yourself" culture with zero help. Hence, a new person struggles a lot. Even after giving your all, you get laid off.
In my opinion, try joining any other company with the same or a lesser package which provides a good work environment and a piece of mind. The environment at Amazon is harsh. You will always have to put in extra hours and get zero respect.
Too harsh an environment, no concept of work-life balance.
1. Online Assessment Interview Invite to schedule. 2. Hiring Manager Round 2/3 LPs and 2 LeetCode medium problems. 3. Interview with SDE II Half an hour with LPs, and the other half doing a coding question to write maintainable code. 4. Bar Rai
After passing the Online Assessment, you then move on to the Final Loop Interviews, which consist of, but not necessarily in specific order: * Behavioral Interview * Technical Coding Interview (Leetcode style) * Low Level Design interview (OOP)
It went well, with half an hour for leadership principles and the other half an hour for coding and system design. It’s a great experience overall. System design, they expect more clarity.
