Amazon's 14 Leadership Principles:
Don't choose Delhi as a location if you get a chance to choose one. Trust me, I made the same mistake. I was reading reviews and ignored them, thinking what could go wrong if I worked hard.
My internship experience was not what I expected. I had 1:1s with my assigned mentor only 8 times (yes, 8 times in 6 months, and that too for 10 minutes each). He never used to assign me tasks. Although one SDE, who was not my mentor, helped me a lot. He assigned me tasks and also helped me by resolving my doubts. My manager understood the situation, so I was fortunate there.
I worked day and night and completed every assigned task on time, and still, I am not sure if I will be getting a full-time offer. I am writing this on my last day as an intern.
Believe me, people are leaving; no one stays more than a year in the team. I have seen it, and I even got advice to apply and try for other big companies.
Strive to be the world's best employer. Really?
1. Online Assessment Interview Invite to schedule. 2. Hiring Manager Round 2/3 LPs and 2 LeetCode medium problems. 3. Interview with SDE II Half an hour with LPs, and the other half doing a coding question to write maintainable code. 4. Bar Rai
After passing the Online Assessment, you then move on to the Final Loop Interviews, which consist of, but not necessarily in specific order: * Behavioral Interview * Technical Coding Interview (Leetcode style) * Low Level Design interview (OOP)
It went well, with half an hour for leadership principles and the other half an hour for coding and system design. It’s a great experience overall. System design, they expect more clarity.
