Pros

You get to own your project right from the start, even as a fresher. Because of this, you will learn a lot, not technically, but also regarding planning and designing to get projects done. Also, because it is a huge company, there is a lot of scope for growth.

Cons

The Software Development Managers are mostly not good. I have had experience with 6 managers in my 5 years of experience, out of which only 2 were good, who also moved out quickly. This bad management can often lead to a worse work-life balance. And worst of all, though employees are put on PIP at the drop of a hat, managers do not get fired even after years of repeated bad reviews.

Advice to Management

Please take feedback for managers seriously. There are annual reviews and yearly anonymous feedbacks, but actions are rarely taken based on these feedbacks.
