Developers are empowered to use whatever tech they see fit. There's a lot to learn, which makes it great as a first job. Most peers are helpful. There's some flexibility to switch teams. The campus in Hyderabad is the best, with good facilities.
- Long working hours (almost half the days, vastly varies across teams and depends on your manager).
- On-call and operational tasks may get frustrating, although they happen on a rotation basis.
- Competitive culture; you've got to sell yourself well and fight for promotions.
- Messy codebase in places (due to focus on delivering fast). Business goals/deadlines are usually prioritized over technical soundness/elegance of a product.
- All pros and cons depend on the team.
