Internal tools are crap, and your experience may vary
Above-average compensation, but not as good as other FANG companies. Access to a lot of good engineers. Ownership of projects, but your experience may vary. Small teams. Push for usage of Rust. Scale of problems. Looks very good on your resume. Clear path to promotion.
Internal tools are a complete and utter piece of crap. This one made me want to quit several times.
Coming from startups, that would use the latest from open-source tools. Goal for firings: to management. No free food. :(
You need to give a better look into your managers and the hiring process for them. The experience of Amazonians varies a lot, depending on who their manager is.
