You get to work on a ton of stuff and use the latest AWS technologies, and learn how one of the biggest software companies in the world manages its software processes.
Not a fan of being on-call, particularly as the number of services your team owns grows. We're always writing new services, and many issues only come up in production. It's a very fast-paced work environment with very smart coworkers, which doesn't leave a lot of room for work-life balance.
