Better than what most people say
You always hear the horror stories about how insane Amazon can be for a software developer. I can't speak for the whole company, but my current team has been pretty relaxed overall. The job isn't easy, but I still only clock in 40-45 hours a week. It's a great place to grow as a developer.
It's not easy, but to be honest, for how much they pay you, it's not surprising. The work isn't overbearing, but it is there.
