Amazon, being such a big company, cannot call its culture a startup. Processes at Amazon are most of the times redundant.
On-call schedule.
Frugality in everything.
No consideration for employees.
Meaningless leadership principles.
Favoritism.
No fixed roadmap (at least this was the case with our team).
Any lateral employee will find the Amazon work culture a little harsh on employees.
Weekends are usually spent just preparing for the hectic weekdays.
Employees >> Customers. If you keep your employees happy, they will keep your customers happy. It's high time the management realizes this.
