Great experience. Really depends on the team, though
- Lots of ownership opportunities since the team (in FinTech) was only 3-4 months old when I joined (late 2018).
- Got to design and implement major features/projects E2E.
- Good WLB, but this was because of the department/team being FinTech and only facing internal customers.
Lack of strong mentorship in the team/department. I was basically figuring things out myself after six months and setting standards.
