If you want to reskill into a different specialty, such as moving between cloud, embedded, hardware, networking, or frontend roles, a big company like Amazon is great.
Internal transfers are easy.
You will be at the end of a long, intentionally vague chain of command. Things will happen without great reasoning or explanation, and you might spend an enormous amount of time on very silly endeavors.
Be less stinky.
