Pay on par with Google, lots of knowledge on distributed systems.
No career growth plan or options.
European offices do mostly on-call work (depends on the team, though).
I received an HR email with general questions and an online assessment. The assessment included two medium to hard LeetCode-style questions with extremely complex descriptions, to be completed within 90 minutes.
It was a coding test, very null and poorly explained. I worked my way through it, and I guess the idea was to examine one's thought process. The problem itself was presented to solve as a singular function, not as an entire solution.
Four interviews were conducted: * System design * Programming * A couple of mixture interviews, including distributed system questions, concurrency, and application design. Behavioral questions were involved in all interviews.
