Decent pay and learning, but stressful oncalls
- Pay was decent.
- Learning opportunities for new grads.
- Standard corporate culture, which is a pro in my book as someone who worked for startups with a toxic environment and much higher intensity.
- On-calls are stressful.
- It's a coin flip landing in a good team or with a good manager.
- Frequent reorgs lead to wasteful context switching, knowledge transfer, and confusion.
