Work-life balance is okay, but there are some periods where you can definitely feel the stress. If you have to work on any core service, the bureaucracy is insane. Some projects rely on technology that is used only inside Amazon, and you may feel you're learning useless skills.

Software Development Engineer (SDE)
Two rounds, two parts of OA and two parts of VO. Each VO takes 1 hour, with 45 minutes of coding (OOD and LeetCode medium-hard) and 15 minutes for BQ. Passed, but been put on a waitlist and hiring has frozen.
