Amazon is always on the front end of technology. Lots of exciting things are happening there across many different product lines. It's also easy to move around from team to team and position to position.
The company tends to overwork you. The company also considers 'frugality' a value, which translates into no perks. This is very disappointing and a drag on the culture.
