- Flexible despite 5-day RTO (team-dependent)
- You will learn what it is like being a SWE outside of just developing (design process, working with multiple stakeholders, etc.)
- Political asf, people act like a dog begging for a bone for any sort of leadership validation/visibility.
- Slow development cycles (might be a pro to some lol).
- Hack work is extremely common, and shortcuts are almost always taken.
Protect your devs; they are a reflection of your leadership.
Also, don't make up fake issues/tasks just to stay employed. Actually manage something that provides value to the company.
