As Engineers, you own your destiny and an abundance of approachable people are at all levels in the company.
- Since the company is huge, there are too many processes to get a product out. I think it's necessary for a company this big.
- The RSU vesting cycle is tail heavy, meaning the majority of the RSUs vest towards the 4th year. This is probably the strategy to retain people.
There are a few loopholes where people come in as Project Managers and they transition into SDMs. Probably need to raise the bar on that!
