Pros

Payment is above average, considering startups and other small companies.

Processes improve over time with opportunities to grow.

You can work with brilliant people spread across the world.

Cons

Leadership doesn't provide a clear vision for product, teams, and work. All messages are half-written, leaving you with a lot of open questions.

Working hours are insane; you are expected to put in 80+ hours a week. Sometimes, this is clearly stated by senior leadership.

The return-to-office mandate completely destroyed people's trust in leaders.

On-call forces you to live 24/7/365 with a gun to your head, especially if you are a manager. There is no concept of work/life balance.
