Toxic culture, poor WLB, but good for the experience
- Working with smart people
- Pay is decent
- Hybrid (3 times a week in the office).
- Toxic culture (coworkers/managers).
- Horrible on-call workload.
- Easy burnout and stress. It will affect your mental health.
- Overworked but barely any salary increase each year and lack of benefits.
- Senior engineers and above all seem miserable. They make your job hard for no reason, unwilling to help out and ignoring questions and messages because they are “busy.” But they always have so much to say about what someone less experienced does and loves to add more work to everyone’s plate, yet the work never falls on them. But somehow this is normalized and encouraged of seniors? Very toxic.
