- Relatively interesting work
- Too data-driven (the human factor of engineering and understanding setbacks of engineering projects is missed)
- Not a great place to grow a career (promotions are hard, mentorship is lacking)
- Leadership is not always adequate to lead technical teams
Never place non-engineers as engineering managers. Scrutinize how you interpret metrics, as they often mislead you to the wrong conclusions.
