The stack at Amazon is nice, and it gives a great salary.
Management was pretty bad. Very often, they gave contradictory advice on leadership qualities. Mentorship was awful. My mentor sat next to me while I coded for a week because he had "nothing to do." Only at the end of the internship did he give me a giant code review full of things I did wrong or could improve.
