There was good money, but not a lot of opportunities in London.
Slow promotion cycles and longer wait times.
I was contacted by a recruiter and started the process. I had some initial questions about experience, education, and other qualifications. Following that, I received a coding challenge and subsequently completed a coding test with an individual
HR phone screen which consisted of past experience and how I would fit with the company. A lot of it was about the tools I know and what I currently work in.
Many rounds of interviews with very technical questions. The people were nice, but the process could be easier and more streamlined. Overall, I would recommend. Nice job, Amazon. I recommend knowing a lot of Python and C++ for the interview.
