High pay, FAANG company, high value, and learning.
Continuous on-call, low work-life balance.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. 3 round interview with: * open test * leetcode hard * a personality interview All one hour each, across several weeks. Not particularly hard if you are prepared for this kind of interview.
There were three interview rounds: * One with the recruiter * One with the tech screener * A marathon session with four engineers Each was about three to four days apart. I had to email them back to get feedback. This was my third application
There are too many unemployed experienced SDEs now. Recruiters expect new graduates to have a lot of hands-on experience. It's easier if you have previous working experience in some tech companies.
