Opportunity to participate in great projects and always challenge yourself to work and compete harder.
I was hired fully remote and I was expected to work virtually forever. I accepted an offer from Amazon on that basis. I left my previous job, which was in my current city, only to be told by Amazon after a year to relocate for an in-office role in Seattle or voluntarily resign. I ended up being forced to eventually resign as I was unable to relocate. I was a top performer on my team.
When employees are let go for reasons beyond their act or performance, it is a layoff. Amazon changed these employment terms, and subsequently forced us to resign. We didn’t foresee making this difficult decision at this time. It is vital that senior leaders focus on justice and human dignity when faced with the possible need to change policy.
I'm currently unemployed without insurance or anything. I regret leaving my previous role to join Amazon on employment terms that ended up completely untrue. I feel I was lured with those terms to accept an Amazon offer.

Seven rounds of hell with refusals in order to hire an Indian from a body shop that back-pays an Indian hire manager. Complete nonsense with refusals sent on weekends at 3 AM. Indians corrupt the Amazon hiring process (not only Amazon).
This was a good experience for me. The first step was a hard and long, four-stage online interview, including test case scenario rating from 1 to 5. Many test cases were asked here. After the test cases, 20 questions on the Java programming language
