Relocations at Amazon are great. The pay is also very good for corporate employees across the board.
The training you get once you are hired for the job assigned to you is lackluster. It sometimes feels Orwellian, as decisions are made from very high up in upper management, and no one you know can affect them.
Dial it down with the S team decisions. Let organizations manage themselves while you set the tone and direction of the company. Overall, your decisions should only directly affect people you know. Once you start giving direct "orders" to people you don't know, you've gone overboard.
