The culture at Amazon is very bad. People are treated as tools, not as individuals.
Whether you succeed or not depends on your manager. If your manager is not good and does not support you, you will be put on a PIP, fired, and then blacklisted.
Don't forget the famous Amazon PIP process. Even L8s will be put on a PIP!
HR? They will not help you.

Systems Development Engineer
