Cons: Leaders in the UK all seem to be burnouts from other companies. They got their jobs from titles on their CVs rather than delivery. The company was very naive setting up in the UK. Hiring friends from other companies and inflating titles. If most of the people got fired from a startup for incompetence, what good will they do here? Good architects were hired, but having everyone from the same company with a chip on their shoulder was never going to create a good environment. Having a tech lead that never delivered a product and had little domain knowledge? A joke. It seems word is out in the industry not to come here, not that AMD can afford to hire anyone these days. RSUs are terrible for longer-serving employees. Stack ranking mandates a sacrificial lamb every year.

Pros: There was great scope for flexibility, networking, and location.
