I applied at the campus job fair and was called the next morning.
There were no technical questions, only personality-related ones. The interviewers were nice and personable, and the environment was very comfortable.
I did not get the offer because of some study visa cool-off period, but the interview was positive.

Cons: Moving up is a hassle. Better to jump ship and come back to move up in the ranks.

Pros: There is no good reason to work at AMD (as an engineer).
Cons: Staffing is boom and bust; today they hire, tomorrow they lay off.
Line management is engineering throwbacks, so tread cautiously to stay on their good side.
Be careful of your co-workers; they will throw you under the bus to save their own skin.
The work is all incremental changes to existing stuff, not great for skills. The industry will outpace you.
