Cons: The higher management is causing chaos with their political games, cutting budgets for profitable products, and laying off teams that are generating profits, while having several higher managers with the same title but in a reporting chain.

Pros: Good compensation, good work-life balance. Fairly flexible and well organized, with a lot of independence in how you approach your work. Pretty ideal job for self-motivated mid- and late-career professionals.
Cons: Management can be a little too hands-off.
Upper-level employees often have remote work privileges, but lower-level employees do not.
The office is pretty empty except for these non-remote employees, which hurts company culture.
Bonuses for the past few years were not full.
