Most of the quarterly all-hands meetings, interfacing with executives, seem pretty transparent. They tell it --- close to how it is. More execs should be like Forrest, who is in charge of the Datacenter.
When certain execs hype their own product lines and numbers to the employee base in a self-serving way, it comes off politician-like. It's as if another year of employment is like an election cycle. This is not the kind of behavior that should be role-modeled.
