I was contacted to do a video interview with a few of the developers from American Airlines. They sent me a guide on how the interview was going to go beforehand.
When it started, I was given a coding prompt and asked to share my screen while I solved it. This was the first interview I had with them.
They did not ask me any questions regarding my resume or background at all. After I solved the problem, they told me to reapply in 12 months and immediately ended the call.
They didn't ask me if I had any questions or tell me future steps or give me feedback whatsoever on what it was I did wrong, even though my solution worked.
Overall, I didn't like their interview process and thought it was a bit unprofessional to say the least.
Solve a coding prompt they give you.
