The culture at American is great within the lower levels. The flight benefits are nice if you can find time to use them. The hybrid work policy is pretty good, and a good manager will be flexible on it.
The majority of directors and above are out of touch with their employees and do not seem to genuinely care about providing competitive benefits or good work/life balance. Flight benefits are difficult to use, and PTO is limited, so you can hardly take advantage of the travel.
Start valuing experienced and loyal employees instead of so casually letting experts walk away and trying to get by with underqualified replacements.
