You have the ability to try out new technology and communicate with incredible people.
If possible, avoid Customer Technology. There are branches of micromanagement, unfair treatment of employees, and a culture of fear and disrespect. Private exit interviews with MDs are common.
I would say have very real one-on-ones with developers and realize that ego will only lead to people leaving.
