Process

The interview process consisted of 5 rounds:

  • A Codility test
  • 3 technical rounds
  • A technical cum managerial discussion with the Director

The recruiter was very helpful in arranging the interviews. The interviewers remained cool and calm.

I was really surprised that all rounds were taken by women interviewers, as this had never happened in my career.

Questions

The Codility test was challenging, as most questions involved string manipulation and had to be completed within a stipulated time. Only after achieving a decent Codility result are you invited for further rounds.

  1. No 3 consecutive characters in a string.
  2. Smallest balanced fragment string.
  3. Repeated string.

Technical rounds were much easier when compared to Codility.

  1. Find the minimum missing element in a 1-n array.
  2. Find the sum in a sorted array.
  3. Sort a Linked List using no extra space.
  4. Design a BMS considering distributed transactions in a payment gateway.
  5. Design Serviceability (logging) and how data is purged, as well as parsing through millions of transactions.
