Work is too stressful, partly because of managers' pressures rather than project pressures. Unrealistic timelines put too much stress on the team.
Work culture is totally spoiled due to managers from a huge number of vendors, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., getting converted to full-time employees, and Amex culture has turned into their culture.
Please use caution when promoting managers to higher levels. Make sure they have the potential for handling not just the projects but the people as well. Too much micromanagement is not good.
