Confused delivery models. Businesses don't get Agile, and nobody admits that they don't get it. Every year, pick a number from the maturity model and portray a fake success. Favoritism everywhere – within the team, across teams, etc., etc. (Oops, that's leveraging business relationships). The majority of business teams forget that Amex is almost a technology company but still refuse to partner, have an inflated sense of their own importance, and lack empathy for engineers.
Do reality checks on the ground.
The first round was a Level 1 interview conducted by a senior developer. This technical round included coding. The camera was on, and the interviewer began with a quick introduction before proceeding with the following questions.
Extremely unprofessional people I have ever seen in my 9 years of career. It was awful to talk to them, and I bailed out of the process. This was my first and last interview with them. Never again.
First round: 3 algorithms with no real-world applications. If they want someone who mugs up algorithms, then what's the point of algorithms? LeetCode/Codility are clients of these organizations. It's a two-way business. Organizations sign contract
