Leadership engagement on our team is severely lacking. Over the course of the past year, I haven’t had a single 1:1 meeting with my leader. Some team members didn’t even receive a midyear review.
Slack messages and Outlook emails often go unread or unanswered, making it difficult to get timely feedback and clarity. Our leader regularly doesn’t show up to scheduled and accepted meetings, which disrupts team coordination and morale.
Consistent communication and follow-through from leadership are critical. Investing in regular 1:1s, timely responses, and showing up to scheduled meetings would greatly improve team trust, productivity, and growth opportunities.
First round is an online HireVue with behavioral questions and MC. The second round is 1 hr 45 min behavioral plus technical with two engineers. I'm not sure if that's the final round, though.
