Highly unprofessional recruiter.

I applied and received an email to schedule a call with the recruiter. The next day, she emailed me to say she couldn't make the time I chose, even though I booked through her calendar. I rescheduled for another day.

Three minutes before our call on the scheduled day, after I had taken time off work to find a suitable place for the call, she sent me an email canceling the call (without any apology) because she saw on my resume that I am not a US citizen.

Many questions:

• Why didn't you state this as a requirement in the job listing?
• Why didn't you go through my resume before scheduling me for a call?
• Why didn't you filter out my application since you asked about nationality in the application?

Learn to treat people with some respect.

The recruiter cancelled the call a few minutes before the scheduled time without any apology.
