Strong benefits package, great products, smart colleagues
The culture is best described as ultra-competitive, gossipy, and toxic. Team members are constantly vying for advancement at the expense of others, resorting to deceit and backstabbing to climb the corporate ladder. Trust among colleagues is virtually nonexistent, as individuals are willing to throw others under the bus to save themselves from potential layoffs. Folks don't perform best under these conditions, and I see a lot of burnout on my team.
Additionally, there is a serious underrepresentation of women and minorities within the organization. I have not seen or heard of any efforts to improve diversity and culture.
I would caution anyone considering employment here to carefully evaluate whether they are willing to tolerate such a toxic and unhealthy work environment.
Put more of an emphasis on recognizing high performers across the whole company.
Many of us feel undervalued and unrecognized.
1. 30-minute screen. 2. Hour-long, easy-to-medium coding interview. 3. Single-day series of 4 interviews: one behavioral, two coding (medium difficulty), and one system design interview. Heard back the same day.
Hard. 45 to 60 minutes. LeetCode DSA and graphs. Grind LeetCode and understand your fundamentals strongly. Expect 3-4 technical rounds with onsite. Shouldn't be that difficult if you are well prepared. Best of luck!
Loved the engineers I met. The interviewers were all welcoming, fully engaged, and collaborative. Showing how you think is more important than being perfect. Folks there care about the mission, so have a strong reason why you want to join.
