Process
I had applied to various positions at Apple but received a callback many months later about a job I didn't apply for.
It was mainly a software engineering job, but my experience in hardware was appreciated.
I got a call from HR who set up an online phone interview for Software.

Challenging projects, good pay and benefits. A very stable company with long-term vision. It's great seeing your products everywhere. Apple throws good parties (although they are getting a little crowded these days). Work-life balance is better than previous experiences I've had.Cons: It's a big company, so bureaucracy creep occurs.
