I was contacted via an internal referral. The entire process was stretched out over approximately six weeks to a month. Upon completion of the onsite interview, I was never contacted regarding the outcome; this was very disrespectful. I interviewed with a few other groups and received similar responses.
I generally found the process enjoyable until the onsite interview. I was asked very low-level technical questions that were easy to complete and did not assess my technical skill in any way. An example includes op-amp questions, which are trivial considering my 8-10 years of technical experience in the field. In general, the group of engineers who questioned me seemed smug, and I doubt they could solve long division on their own.
I was given the silly question of how many ways you can put a hole into a part in 60 seconds.
