Cons: Ancient technology stack that will leave your technical skills in atrophy. Lack of uniform direction or leadership in the company; the amount of pivoting makes it difficult to accomplish anything long-term. Huge expectation differences between SREs and developers with regard to best practices. Complete lack of remote work flexibility. All employees must be in overcrowded offices most days of the week, leading to: * Lack of parking * Long lines for bathrooms and cafeteria * No conference room availability * Cramped workspaces

Pros: It’s Apple. A badge of honor.

Cons: It’s a big company. It can be slow.

Pros: Surrounded by some of the most talented and encouraging people.

Cons: SRE is very operational. The culture between dev and SRE is not great in some teams.
